Moths at magic hour

Last night’s magic hour provided 15 mins of pure photographic bliss for me.

Twinkling moths at twilight, wrong camera settings, and enchantment ensued.

1 sec at f/11.0 (with a little bit of camera shake), with my favourite lens – Canon L-series f/4 70-200mm.

The moths were flitting up and down in these random patterns, and leaving incredible trails behind.

My fingers are still twitching and my heart is still palpitating.

I’m going to have to search for some more magic like that again soon.
