An Oceanic Ode Part 1

A spur-of-the moment decision landed us on a beach in Cuba for a week. It was almost like time travel – winter boots and down coat in the morning, flip flops and bathing suit by midday.

There’s nothing much in the world that can compare to staring for hours into an endless body of water, being transfixed by the sound and motion.

And the colours, the colours! oh my. Depending on the light and mood of the day, it was a constantly changing tapestry of blues, greens, and aquamarines.

This week I’ll share images of the watery tableau here, so we can all escape together.
