Western Canadian recently transplanted to the East, having fun getting to know the area and it’s nuances.
Trying to fit in some adventure in between my some-time biologist gigs, once-in-a-while travels, and most-of-the-time mom routine.
Attempting to reconnect with my primary passion of the natural world, and my secondary love of photography, which has been on the back burner for far too long.
I’m hoping this space will be an outlet for my creativity, and an inspiration to you.
Photography details: Canon EOS Rebel T2i. Favourite lens is my RF 70-200mm f/4 L USM- love the depth of field and clarity. I use it for all, from clouds to flowers. Sometimes use a basic EF 20-35 mm f/3.5-4.5 USM. Will grab my partner’s 400m or macro once in a while, but I prefer zoom lenses for the ability to compose.
