Rainbow scum?

When the local pond scum starts to look like rainbows, you have to question what exactly was in your drink the night before…

No filter. Just nature, a little high on life.

On Fire

The setting sun set fire to the marsh, engulfing the cattails in flames.

A Reprieve 2

It’s a triple fuzzy whammy: the indirect gray light made the world so soft and gentle; the cattails had all started to unravel; and then, on top of it all, I added unfocus.

Prince Edward County

I spent the weekend with some friends in Prince Edward County, and couldn’t have asked for a more full and relaxing three days. We covered it all:  ice-cream, turtles, birds, beach, live music, antiquing…and yet there is so much more to explore! I’ll for sure have to head back, hopefully for a longer visit.

Oh, did I mention the maple cheddar? Or lavender sea salt? Homemade pickles? Burnt marshmallow ice-cream? Chipotle maple bbq sauce? It was a foodie’s dream. Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard.
